2 year olds are a challenge! Then there is the apartment, car, student loans, a job, daycare expenses and scheduling, to worry about. Will things get better? Apparently not as the government is cutting 800 million from SNAP (food stamps) and other single parent programs are also being slashed.
What’s happening, have I been LIED to? That is the question I’ve set out to answer.
Sadly the answer for millions of us is YES. Nobody told me that choosing college economically harms 74% of the entering freshman. According to the government numbers 49% of them drop out before graduating, then over 10 million college graduates end up unemployed or underemployed, that is 50% of the graduates, do the math and you’ll find that 74% of freshman are harmed by choosing collage.
Well that is the little lie, there is a deeper deception documented in a really good blog that documents how rapidly advancing technology with smart machines, like IBM Watson, are replacing lawyers, accountants, engineers, managers, pilots, farmers, and much more. The economic damage technology is doing to the middle class, is not visible to most people. It’s not like a big factory closing that gets the headlines. I is a cancer that eats away at our futures with us not realizing it.
Therefor I call it the the attack of the economic termites. Because termites are very devious little beasts, they eat out the inside of wood but leave a paper thin outer shell so if you look at the structure it looks strong but it isn’t. Every year for the last 45 years good middle class jobs have been quietly eaten up by ever more sophisticated technologies.
After studying the blog and doing some checking on my own, I’ve concluded that remaining an employee is a very risky and dangerous pathway for me and my child. For me mastering declaration and especially knowing has been, life changing. Brainblaster has made such a big difference in my effectiveness that I have decided that I will enrol in GEDS’s full program, but not today.
Today I’m a laboratory assistant, and the company I’m working for is building a new research lab in Bangalore, India. It is likely that the lab where I work will be closed down and I’ll be without a job. At that time with my unemployment benefits, I and my daughter will move into one of GEDS low cost dormitories that have co-op child care. In this way I can spend most of my time building my own business. I’m also selling off all of my unnecessary stuff, this will give me some more money to put into my business.
Today I declare to the world that I am an entrepreneur. If anyone asks for details I tell them to wait and watch. I also declare that by the time my unemployment runs out I will have a viable business of my own, and will not be dependent on selfish uncaring corporations for my livelihood.
